The 1 Micron Silver Sentinel filter is capable of trapping particles as small as (1) one micron and has 800 sq/ft of filter media in a single cartridge. This polypropylene depth filter traps and holds impurities inside the filter, rather than just on the filter surface. The efficiency of our filter allows us to eliminate chemicals such as brighteners, coagulants, defoamers, descummers and filter cleaners. The filter is also disposable, and recyclable - eliminating the need to wash and clean dirty filters. Compare this to the typical pleated filter systems that screen down to only 60 microns, are only 50% efficient and require frequent rinsing, degreasing, replacement, and in many cases, are a part of expensive multiple filter configurations.
